Turning Strategy into Action

We are excited to announce the third and final round of community meetings for ProspectUS! The first and second round of meetings provided our team great insight about the existing challenges and opportunities facing the Prospect corridor community, and discussion about strategies to advance community goals. Upcoming meetings are about translating your ideas and feedback into reality, and will be structured around three sub-topics: Neighborhoods & Housing, Funding & Financing, and Public Space Improvements.

Neighborhoods & Housing (past)

Upcoming work sessions for Neighborhoods & Housing will focus primarily on how development will be implemented moving forward. Meetings will welcome the community and subject experts to create a zoning overlay district that reflects the needs of the transit nodes, corridors, districts, and neighborhoods.

Funding & Financing (past)

Upcoming work sessions for Funding & Financing will focus primarily on alignment of resources that can be applied to support both the needs of the Prospect Corridor for housing, workforce development, infrastructure, rehabilitation/development, and more. We welcome the community and subject-matter experts to come to the table to discuss federal, state, local, philanthropic, non-profit, and private resources/programs/tools that can support implementation.

Public Space Improvements (past)

Upcoming work sessions for Public Space Improvements will focus primarily on the public capital investment plan targeted to support better connectivity, accessibility, and walkability throughout the Prospect Corridor. The community and public infrastructure experts will identify actionable next steps to support the strategies presented.
